Risa Lynn Wolf-Smith is a partner with Holland & Hart LLP in Denver and chairs its Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Practice Group. She has represented secured lenders, creditors’ committees, unsecured creditors, asset-purchasers, landlords, franchisors, licensors and receivers.
Wolf-Smith served as a director of the Turnaround Management Association’s Colorado chapter and is a frequent lecturer and author, having been published in numerous trade and business publications.
In addition, Wolf-Smith has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America for 2011-15 for Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law and has been named as one of the top lawyers in The Legal 500 since 2009 and as a Colorado Super Lawyer from 2005-14. A member of the Colorado and California Bar Associations, she received her B.A. summa cum laude in 1982 from Colorado College, where she was a Boettcher Scholar and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and her J.D. in 1985 from Stanford Law School.
