Ms. Kathryn McGlynn

KATE serves as a financial advisor in distressed and bankrupt situations, with a primary focus on advising unsecured creditor committees and senior lenders. She has worked with debtors, senior lenders, unsecured creditors and bond insurers in both bankruptcy and out-of-court matters. Her experience also includes working on complex litigation matters, mainly in chapter 11 cases. She has served clients in the airline, energy, fast-casual restaurant, for-profit school system, health care, investment management, mining, municipal and retail sectors. 

Kate is a member of the Turnaround Management Association and currently serves on its executive board as vice president of programming for the New York Chapter. She has been invited to be part of Deloitte Financial Advisory Services’ Senior Women in Leadership for the Americas, for which she is one of three women from the U.S. and the only woman representing the Corporate Restructuring Group. She was recently asked to train her  colleagues in Bogota on restructuring services that can be provided, as well as the technical aspects of those capabilities. In addition, she has authored numerous white papers for public distribution.

Outside of work, Kate has been part of The New York Junior League, an international women’s volunteer organization, for over 10 years and in a leadership position for eight of those years. She has also been a board member of the Breast Treatment Task Force, a New York City-based nonprofit organization.
