Kimberly A. Posin

Kimberly A. Posin is a partner in Latham & Watkins LLP’s Restructuring, Insolvency & Workouts practice group in Los Angeles, where she represents corporatations and secured lenders in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. She also represents private-equity funds, buyers and hedge funds in distressed asset sales. Her debtor representations include such diverse companies as BIND Therapeutics, Consolidated Freightways, Spansion and Boston Generating LLC.

In 2013, Ms. Posin co-authored “Intellectually Bankrupt?: The Comprehensive Guide to Navigating IP Issues in Chapter 11,” published in the Summer 2013 issue of the ABI Law Review, and in 2016, she co-authored an ABI Law Review article titled “Bankruptcy Without Borders: A Comprehensive Guide to the First Decade of Chapter 15.” A member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation, she received her undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and her J.D. from Boalt Hall School of Law.
