Kimberly Posin is a partner in the Los Angeles office of Latham & Watkins LLP and is a member of the firm’s Restructuring, Insolvency and Workouts practice.  She specializes in representing corporations and secured lenders in all aspects of bankruptcy proceedings and out-of-court restructurings. She also represents private equity funds, buyers and hedge funds in distressed asset sales.  Kim’s debtor representations include such diverse companies as BIND Therapeutics, Consolidated Freightways, Spansion and Boston Generating. 

Her recent publications include articles in the ABI Law Review, the ABI Journal and the ABTL Report.  In 2013, Kim co-authored an article for the ABI Law Review titled “Intellectually Bankrupt?: The Comprehensive Guide to Navigating IP Issues in Chapter 11” and, in 2016, she co-authored an article for the ABI Law Review tilted “Bankruptcy Without Borders: A Comprehensive Guide to the First Decade of Chapter 15”.  Kim has presented at several ABI conferences and is also a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation.
