Kristina Johnson regularly handles complex commercial bankruptcy litigation in Chapters 11, 7, 9, and 12, and has handled a number of lender class-action adversary proceedings in Chapter 13. Many of her cases involve parallel criminal proceedings.
Kristina has represented secured and unsecured creditors in commercial litigation, commercial bankruptcies and receiverships; buyers of assets in bankruptcy sales; trustees; and unsecured creditors’ committees. She serves currently as Chapter 11 trustee in a complicated commercial bankruptcy case involving parallel federal and international criminal proceedings.
Active in state and local bar associations, Kristina has served on numerous committees, including the Steering Committee to rewrite the Mississippi Local Bankruptcy Rules. She is an annual contributing author to West's Bankruptcy Exemption Manual.
