<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Danielle Mashburn-Myrick</strong> is a partner in the Mobile, Ala., office of Phelps Dunbar LLP, where she focuses her practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights and commercial litigation and works with lenders to limit losses in distressed-debt situations, and to collect and recover on defaulted debt. Ms. Mashburn-Myrick frequently represents community banks and global financial institutions in commercial loan workouts, commercial foreclosures, in- and out-of-court collection activities, Uniform Commercial Code sales, in exercise of other Article 9 remedies, and in obtaining payment of sizeable debts and obligations, including through bankruptcy reorganizations and liquidations. She also litigates commercial disputes in state, bankruptcy and other federal courts. Ms. Mashburn-Myrick brings extensive experience earned from representing clients in numerous industries, including marine and energy, health care, retail, hospitality, commercial real estate, transportation, and banking and financial services. She has been recognized consistently by leading peer-review publications, including <em>The Best Lawyers in America</em>, <em>Chambers and Partners</em> and <em>Mobile Bay Magazine</em>’s 40 Under 40. She also is an honoree of ABI’s “40 Under 40” program. Ms. Mashburn-Myrick received her B.A. in philosophy <em>magna cum laude</em> in 2006 from Rhodes College and her J.D. <em>magna cum laude</em> in 2013 from the University of Alabama School of Law.</p>
