<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Robert S. Marticello</strong> is a partner with Raines Feldman Littrell LLP in Costa Mesa, Calif., where he focuses on business reorganization and related litigation. He is experienced in chapter 11 bankruptcy and out-of-court restructurings, and has represented a broad range of clients, including debtors, creditors, trustees, equityholders and asset purchasers in such industries as real estate, retail, restaurants, logistics and technology. He also litigates bankruptcy avoidance and nondischargeability actions. Mr. Marticello is a member of ABI’s inaugural “40 Under 40” class in 2017 and was selected for the National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges’ prestigious Next Generation Program. He is consistently listed is <em>Super Lawyers</em> and acknowledged in <em>The Best Lawyers in America</em> for his work in bankruptcy and reorganization law. Mr. Marticello is a frequent speaker and published author on bankruptcy trends, and he holds leadership roles in several professional organizations, including vice chair of the Lawyer Representative Coordinating Committee to the Ninth Circuit, director of the Federal Bar Association’s Orange County Chapter, and director of the Turnaround Management Association’s Southern California chapter. He also is a former president of both the California Bankruptcy Forum and the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum. Mr. Marticello clerked for Hon. John E. Ryan in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California from August 2005 to February 2007, and for Hon. Robert N. Kwan in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California from March to August 2007. He also was a founding partner of Smiley Wang-Ekvall, LLP. Mr. Marticello received his undergraduate degree from California State University Chico and his J.D. <em>magna cum laude</em> from Californian Western School of Law in 2005, where he was a member of the <em>California Western Law Review</em>.</p>
