Nick’s work on health care bankruptcy cases is personal: His wife is an ER doctor, and his father benefited from Medi-Cal, California’s version of Medicaid, which helped fund some of his treatment, including his hospice care. To that end, he strives to make a difference in the practice by becoming a leader in the organizations he is involved with so that he can create educational opportunities and enhance the community for young businesspeople in the industry. He also provides pro bono services with Kids in Need of Defense by preparing asylum and special immigrant juvenile status applications for minor refugees.
