Mr. Tim McDonagh

TIM is a senior managing director and focuses on turnarounds and restructurings in corporate finance practice. He specializes in serving as a trusted advisor to C-suites and boards of directors in complex, high-stake turnarounds. Many of his engagements have won multiple awards from the Turnaround Management Association, M&A Advisor, Association of Management Consulting Firms and others.A CTP, Tim recently served as overall engagement lead to Southeastern Grocers, a precedent-setting pre-packaged bankruptcy that implemented critical changes to the business with minimal disruption. His other representative clients include Aeropostale, RadioShack, The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co., Residential Capital, Vertis Communications, a $6 billion media company, The Puerto Rico Electrical Power Authority, CIT Group, Eastman Kodak Co., The Children’s Place, Delphi Corp. and Circuit City.Tim is a recreational rock-climber and served in the U.S. Peace Corps, volunteering with a community in Dennery, St. Lucia. During this stint, he advised a group of women who were establishing an agro-processing business, mentored a group of boys, taught English, math and basic computer skills to teenagers, and developed material for and taught a class on small business skills for unemployed women.
