Paige M. Vaillancourt
Rescia Vaillancourt, P.C., Enfield, CTPAIGE is a partner at Rescia Vaillancourt, P.C. with offices in Enfield, Conn. and Northampton, Mass., and is part of the firm’s bankruptcy and insolvency practice. She acts as counsel to chapter 7 trustees and represents consumer and business debtors, as well as creditors and litigants, throughout bankruptcy proceedings under various chapters. In addition, she is an adjunct professor of law at Western New England University School of Law, where she currently teaches Advanced Legal Analysis. She was a summer clerk for Hon. Alfred V. Covello in the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
Paige is a 2024 National Conference of Bankruptcy Judges NextGen participant and was a Connecticut Bar Association (CBA) Presidential Fellow for the 2020-22 term. She was awarded the 2019 Rising Star Award by the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Section of the CBA and served as the Commercial Law & Bankruptcy Committee Chair of the CBA’s Young Lawyers Section (YLS) Executive Committee from 2019-24, for which she was awarded the 2019-20 Rookie of the Year Award and 2022-23 Star of the Year Award. She is now the CBA YLS Chair. In addition, she has been listed as a Connecticut Super Lawyers “Rising Star” every year since 2022. She is admitted to the bars for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of Connecticut, as well as the U.S. District Court for the Districts of Massachusetts and Connecticut. She is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hampden and Hampshire County Bar Associations. She also is a member of the International Women’s Insolvency & Reorganization Confederation’s (IWIRC)’s New England and Connecticut Networks, serving as a board member for the New England network, and of ABI, for which she serves on the advisory board for its Northeast Bankruptcy Conference and Consumer Forum.
Paige enjoys working on community outreach projects, especially for younger generations, and was awarded a distinction for service to the bar by Hon. Julie A. Manning. She has organized and spoken at a variety of legal education events, published several articles, and participates on a number of boards and committees, as well as in numerous pro bono initiatives. She has been a She Leads Justice Cooperating Attorney Network volunteer since 2024, and she has given her time outside of the office to such causes as the CBA’s Financial Literacy Education Program for area high schools and the Lawyers in the Classroom Civics Education Program for area middle schools, also acting as a volunteer judge for the Civic First CT Mock Trial competition. She has been a volunteer attorney for the CBA’s Lawyers in Libraries Free Legal Advice Program and consistently volunteers for its Free Legal Advice Clinic. In addition, she has served as a Connecticut Bankruptcy Pro-Bono Panel attorney since 2021 and a Massachusetts Community Legal Aid Pro-Bono Panel attorney since 2019. She also has been a panel attorney with the Hampden County Elder Law Program (HELP) since 2019, and served as a bar exam mentor for Western New England University School of Law students.
