ADAM is a member of the firm’s financial restructuring and bankruptcy practice group. He represented the federal equity receiver and chapter 11 trustee appointed in the Thomas Petters Ponzi scheme cases, and has experience coordinating fraud-recovery efforts in Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands and the Cayman Islands. He has also litigated avoidable transfers, lien priority disputes, professional malpractice cases, civil and criminal forfeiture issues, and agricultural and food contract matters.
Adam authored an article through the Minnesota Bankruptcy Institute on the Uniform Voidable Transactions Act, co-authored a Practical Law series on Minnesota’s local bankruptcy rules, and has spoken at numerous CLE and conference presentations from local bar sections to international conferences. As a hiring partner and chair of the Recruiting Committee at the firm, he oversees all entry-level and mid-level recruiting.
Adam has volunteered countless hours for the legal clinic at Plymouth Christian Youth Center, a health, education and welfare organization serving inner-city youth in Minneapolis, as well as for the clinic at YouthLink, an organization dedicated to connecting homeless youth to larger community resources. He has also taken on pro bono work and has assisted clients at the region’s Immigration Law Center and the Volunteer Lawyers Network.
