In addition, she is an at-large director of the international board for the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). She previously served for four years as co-chair of IWIRC’s Southern California Network. In law school, she was named Outstanding Law Student by the L.A. She was recently certified by the Emerging Leader Development Program at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School, an executive leadership education program sponsored by her firm. She also is a frequent speaker and panelist on hot topics in bankruptcy, most recently on the intersection of bankruptcy and arbitration at the California Bankruptcy Forum in May 2022 and the current status of third-party releases at ABI’s Southwest Bankruptcy Conference in September 2022. At the onset of the pandemic, she participated in webinars about the impacts of COVID-19 on the industry. She also has spoken on professional retention and compensation issues.
“[Genevieve] developed her career in the classic model of a well-rounded lawyer, fully engaged in her professional and personal communities. This makes her a great example of remarkable ability, leadership and achievement in the bankruptcy and insolvency community.”
