DAVID is a partner and the senior bankruptcy and corporate restructuring attorney at the firm. He was formerly a partner with Klee, Tuchin, Bogdanoff & Stern LLP, where he represented debtors Wet Seal, PacSun, Sport Chalet, Eastern Mountain Sports, Bob’s Stores, National R.V. and Lake Las Vegas, a bankrupt developer of a resort community surrounding a man-made lake. He has represented the asset purchasers of Hot Dog on a Stick, Souplantation and Sweet Tomatoes. He also was appellate counsel in the asbestos bankruptcy case of Thorpe Insulation, Brotman Medical Center and Alabama Aircraft. In addition, he was on the defense teams in the multibillion- dollar Tronox and Samson Investment fraudulent-transfer adversary proceedings.

David has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers and by Martindale-Hubbell. He is a member of the boards of directors of the Southern California Chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and of the Los Angeles and Orange County Bankruptcy Forums, and he has helped organize and spoken at various conferences and educational events, including ABI’s. He also is a pro bono volunteer mediator for the bankruptcy court mediation program in Los Angeles, and has successfully helped settle a number of disputes.

David has participated in law clerk and extern training for the bankruptcy court in Los Angeles, and was his firm’s hiring partner for many years. He currently chairs the firm’s 401(k) committee and enjoys mentoring junior attorneys.
