JOSHUA is a partner and represents debtors and creditors in chapters 7, 11, 12 and 13, as well as chapter 7 and 11 trustees. He also represents and defends financial institutions, handles real estate matters and nonbankruptcy civil litigation, and provides general representation to a municipality, including as city prosecutor. In addition, he represented a chapter 7 trustee in a bankruptcy appeal to the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, which required conducting oral argument in New Orleans.
Joshua has taken on numerous speaking and writing opportunities, and in 2015 he was chosen as a Fellow by the Texas Bar Foundation. He currently serves as secretary on the Executive Council of the Bankruptcy Section of the State Bar of Texas and is a past recipient of the Section’s Romina L. Mulloy Bossio Achievement Award.
Joshua is involved in his local community, including as a board member of Asbury House Child Enrichment Center (a nonprofit preschool for low-income children) and as a board member of the East Texas Regional Development Corp. (Northeast Texas’s SBA 504 CDC Lender).
