CLAIRE is an associate and practices in the areas of bankruptcy and commercial law, focusing primarily on the representation of debtors in possession in both corporate and individual chapter 11 reorganizations, creditors' committees, secured creditors, chapter 7 and 11 trustees, landlords, tenants, suppliers, and other parties. Representative cases where she has represented debtors in possession and chapter 11 plans were successfully confirmed include: Shiekh Shoes, LLC; One Way Loans, LLC; Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc.; and Glostation USA, Inc. Prior to joining the firm, Claire clerked for Bankruptcy Judge Robert N. Kwan in the Central District of California.

From a young age, Claire raised Guide Dogs for the Blind, seeing-eye dogs for the visually impaired, and successfully raised three working guide dogs. She has remained active in pro bono, previously at Public Counsel, through the Consumer Law/ Debtor Assistance Project, where she assisted low-income debtors at the Los Angeles Self-Help Desk and monthly clinic and, more recently, with the CLA Business Law Section at the LA County Law Library’s annual “Pro Bono Week” fair.

Claire has served as Events co-chair for the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation’s Southern California chapter, and as a Young Insolvency Professional co-chair for the California Bankruptcy Forum’s annual conference. She has since become Sponsorship chair and Program Book co-chair, respectively, and is also involved in the COW subcommittee of the Insolvency Law Committee of the Business Law Section. Claire has also published articles in Bloomberg Law, Receivership News, Riverside Lawyer Magazine, and Law360.
