Ms. Ariane HoltschlagFactorLaw, Chicago, IL
ARIANE represents individual and institutional debtors and creditors in cases under chapters 7, 13 and 11, as well as chapter 7 panel trustees. She is proud to say that even in the current climate of decreasing filings, her practice is growing, in large part due to referrals from colleagues and prior clients.
Ariane is a commissioner on ABI’s Commission on Consumer Bankruptcy and co-chairs ABI’s annual Hon. Eugene R. Wedoff Seventh Circuit Consumer Bankruptcy Conference. She is also a frequent speaker on a number of consumer bankruptcy topics, including student loans, and has written for the ABI Journal. In addition, she has served multiple leadership roles on ABI’s Consumer Bankruptcy Committee and is currently its education director.
Not only does Ariane mentor young attorneys, she has volunteered for nearly 10 years for the Credit Abuse Resistance Education (CARE) program, teaching financial literacy skills to teenagers and young adults. She was a coordinator for CARE at her local high school, and makes presentations several times a year.
Ariane truly is an innovator, disruptor and rebel who brings an outstanding level of service and commitment to consumers experiencing traumatic life decisions caused by financial distress.
