Stretto, Richmond, TX

“[Sarah’s] impeccable reputation is the direct result of her tireless efforts across 15-odd years and multiple companies. She is equal parts spirited, resourceful and shrewd.”

SARAH is Stretto’s executive vice president of business development, where she drives the business development strategy for the company’s corporate restructuring offerings. She leads a team of former turnaround professionals and subject-matter experts, architecting individual, team and firm-level client-acquisition strategies with a focus on increasing Stretto’s chapter 11 market share. Under her leadership, Stretto has established itself as the market leader in the corporate restructuring space.

Sarah plays an active role in the corporate-restructuring community as a member of ABI, the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), having previously served in board positions for TMA NextGen, IWIRC and IWIRC NY. She received The M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leader Award, the National Law Journal’s ‘Best National Legal Recruiter’ award, and IWIRC’s International Rising Star award.

Outside of her professional work, Sarah spends time working with the Girl Scouts. Since 2015, she has helped the girls see that the skills they are developing through their cookie sales have real-world relevance. Among her favorite efforts, she hosts a workshop in preparation for the cookie season, during which she teaches them about sales strategies, understanding their audience, knowing their product and goal-setting. Through role-playing activities, she helps them understand the importance of deliberate communication, the power of teamwork, and that confidence in themselves and in each other is the foundation that will support their success.
